Doorframe Stretches

Simple doorframe exercises to help alleviate shoulder pain. Can be done one sided or with both arms. Gently push into the tight areas for 5 seconds and repeat as necessary. Good to:

  • Stretch Pecs
  • Open Shoulders
  • Protract Sacpula
  • Stretch Shoulder Capsule

Scapular Thoracic Rhythm - Mobility

Lying down scapular thoracic rhythm exercises to encourage good movement of shoulders and shoulder blades. Encourages:

  • Good Shoulder Movement
  • Joint mobility
  • Improved Function

 

Shoulder Clocks

Exercises to increase range of movement of the shoulder joint and stretch the shoulder capsule. Only to be done as part of a prescribed exercise plan.

Shoulder Rehab- External Rotation / Abduction

Easy shoulder rehab exercise with theraband. Working into External Rotation and Abduction. Good as part of a recovery programme for

  • Shoulder Impingement
  • Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy / Tendonitis
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Posture (Shoulder Rounding)

Kneeling Shoulder and Lat Stretch / Mobilisation

This exercise can be used to either stretch through your lats or to mobilise the upper back into extension depending on your elbow placement. For mobility do not hold but move through the position rapidly and repeat.
