Tony Doorley Osteopath

Tony initially took an interest in Osteopathy when receiving treatment for sports injuries received in his Pres Bray and Greystones Rugby career. While he initially studied Science in UCD he emigrated to the UK to become and Osteopath in 2010. He joined the degree program at the College of Osteopaths following in the footsteps of his aunt Jean Doorley who has been working as an Osteopath in Bray for many years.

During his studies Tony spent 5 years working for the NHS in the Physiotherapy department of the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead helping people rehabilitate from major surgeries. This gave him a profound understanding of the challenges and limitations of the modern healthcare system.

After qualification Tony worked throughout London in several clinics as an associate practitioner while also leading the therapy team at St Albans RFC. He moved home to Bray, Co Wicklow in May 2018 to begin Positive Balance Osteopathy.
